Since 1986 when Colville and I established Soft Design Automation, the company governed itself by three guiding principles;

Soft Design’s continued success is evidence that this philosophy has served our customers, employees and shareholders well.

 

The future looks bright with Soft Design Automation teaming up with JMP Engineering.  Our customers will gain access to an even broader range of engineering services across three lines of business; Controls, Automation and Information.  JMP Engineering is a Certified Member of the Control System Integrators Association and was recently awarded Control Engineering System Integrator of the Year and Packaging Digest’s Packaging Integrator of the Year for 2009.  I was convinced that JMP’s 30 year vision, culture and reputation were a logical fit for Soft Design and our clients going forward.

 

Throughout the past twenty-four years or so, I have sincerely enjoyed knowing and working with the staff at Soft Design.  They are the best.  This has never been more apparent than during Colville’s illness and subsequent passing.  Now, as they begin this new adventure, I wish them the greatest success in all their endeavors and I invite all of Soft Design’s customers, old and new, to join in this new and exciting merger with JMP Engineering.
